Anbar police repels ISIS’ deadliest attack in Ramadi
Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, Anbar police chief Maj. Gen. Kazim Fahdawi announced, that the security forces were able to repel ISIS’ deadliest attack, in which the terrorist group used seven vehicles driven by suicide bombers in Ramadi. The security situation is now stable in the city.
Fahdawi told IraqiNews.com,”Yesterday, security troops of the army, the police and the Golden division backed by tribal fighters were able to repel ISIS’ deadliest attack on Ramadi, in which seven vehicles driven by suicide bombers were used.”
“Repelling the attack is a major achievement of the security forces and the tribes,” he added, noting that, “The security situation in Ramadi is quite stable now.”
