Military reinforcements to arrive in Biji oil refinery to support security forces
(IraqiNews.com) The commander of Salahuddin Operations Lt. Gen. Abdul Wahab al-Saadi announced on Tuesday, the arrival of military reinforcements to support the security forces stationed in Biji oil refinery north of Tikrit.
The Iraqi state television quoted al-Saadi as saying that, “Huge military reinforcements arrived from three axes to support in the security forces in Baiji refinery.”
On Tuesday, Vice President of the Security Committee in the House of Salahuddin province, Khalid al-Khazraji denied ISIS control over parts of Biji refinery, while stated that the security forces have foiled ISIS attack, killed 40 militants, and destroyed 10 vehicles.
