No evidence about al-Baghdadi’s injury in airstrike last March, says Pentagon
(IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, Pentagon spokesman said, that there is no evidence that the ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was injured in an air strike that took place last March in Iraq.
Pentagon spokesman Col. Steven Warren said that the U.S. military has no knowledge about ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s injury or him bieng the target of airstrikes carried out on the 18th of March 2015. “We have no reason to believe it was Baghdadi,” Col. Steven Warren said.
According to a report by ”the Guardian,” al-Baghdadi was believed to have been seriously injured in an air strike last March and is no longer able to oversee the daily affairs of the ISIS group.
