Regiments of federal police arrive in Baiji to reinforce army troops
(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Thursday, a source within the federal police said, that regiments of the federal police arrived in areas of Baiji district to support the army troops stationed there.
The source told IraqiNews.com “Regiments of the federal police led by the commander of the Federal Police Forces Raed Shaker have arrived in a number of areas in the district of Baiji,” asserting that, “The regiments will reinforce and back the army troops stationed inside the district.”
The district of Baiji is located 40 km north of Tikrit city.
