Business & Banks Council honors Iraqi football team

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Olympic Committee announced that the Business and Banks Council has allocated a financial award of IQD one billion for the Iraqi sport delegation participating in the World Cup U 20.The envoy of the Iraqi Sport Press Union quoted the Head of the Iraqi Football Association, Najeh Hamoud, as saying that ”The Head of the Olympic Committee, Raad Hamudi, phoned him after the match between Iraq and S. Korea where he praised the historical performance and the distinguished level of our football team.””Hamudi informed Najih Hamoud that “The Business and Banks Council has allocated a financial award of IQD one billion for the Iraqi delegation participating in the World Cup U 20, praising their success in becoming on top four teams in the World,” the statement added. \END
