3 policemen, civilian wounded in Falluja suicide blast

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Monday’s earlier eastern Falluja suicide car bomb blast left four persons, including three policemen wounded, a police source in al-Anbar province said. “Three policemen and one civilian man were wounded when a suicide bomber blew up his explosive vehicle near a police patrol in al-Karma district, eastern Falluja,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Security forces sealed off all roads leading to the scene and banned traffic in the district after the attack,” the source added. Earlier on Monday (Oct. 19), a local police source in Anbar said the attack has left casualties that are not counted yet. The blast coincides with security unrest in the province where several car bomb and improvised explosive device attacks have left dozens killed or wounded recently. Falluja, the largest city in the predominantly Sunni province of al-Anbar, lies 45 km west of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. AmR (P) 1
