Arms cache seized in Hit

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Security forces seized an arms cache containing rockets and improvised explosive devices in the district of Hit, western al-Anbar province, on Wednesday, a source in the Ramadi police department said. “A force from the Hit district police, acting upon intelligence tip-offs received by security agencies, seized a cache in the area of al-Basateen,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The cache contained 10 Katyusha rockets, five IEDs, materials used in making explosive charges and seven RPG-7 shells,” he added.
