Turkey warns its citizens against traveling to Iraq except Kurdistan region

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Turkish Foreign Ministry warned on Wednesday its citizens from traveling to Iraq except Kurdistan region.
The news agency “Anatolia” said, “the travel warning to Iraq has been expanded to include all provinces with the exception of Dohuk, Erbil and Sulaymaniyah in the northern region of Iraq.”
The Turkish Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday (8 December 2015) that Turkey has stopped sending troops to Bashiqa region in northern Iraq two days ago after a complaint by Baghdad, noting that Ankara will do nothing that undermines the sovereignty of Iraq.
