(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The commander of the Anti-Terrorism Forces, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Ghani al-Asadi, announced on Thursday, that the security forces gained control of the western part of the city of Ramadi.

Asadi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Yesterday, we controlled the western part of the city of Ramadi from Palestine Bridge to the end of al-Qasim Bridge,” adding that, “We are waiting for a decision by the General Command of the storming of the city of Ramadi.”
