(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Monday, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah accused Israel of assassinating the party’s leader Samir al-Kuntar using precise missiles, while called the Nigerian government to follow the perpetrators of the massacre in Nigeria and to release Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky.

Nasrallah said in a speech after the assassination of Kuntar, “The Israeli enemy is the one which assassinated the martyr Samir al-Kuntar using precise missiles on an apartment that he inhabited along with Syrian fighters,” adding that, “Who kills a man like al-Kuntar is serving Israel, while the allegations of some Syrian dissidents of killing al-Kuntar are unfounded.”

“Immediately after his release, Kuntar announced his intention to execute an operation against Israel. Kuntar loved Palestine and was dedicated to its people, prisoners and resistance,” he added.

Nasrallah continued, “We condemn the silence of the international community about the crime that took place in Nigeria against the Islamic movement,” pointing out that, “The Nigerian government have to follow the perpetrators of the massacre in Zarya and release Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky.”

On Sunday, Hezbollah announced the death of al-Kuntar, while accused Israel of killing him by carrying out an air strike on the town of Jaramana in Damascus.
