Woman killed, kidnapped person freed in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: One woman was killed by a sticky bomb, while police managed to free a kidnapped person in Baghdad and to arrest his kidnappers on Tuesday, according to a statement of the Baghdad operations command. “One woman was killed by a sticky bomb blast in al-Taaji region,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “A police force managed to free a 15-year old young man from al-Zaafaraniya region,” it added, noting that forces arrested the kidnappers; two men and a woman 12 hours later.
