17 arrested in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Twelve persons wanted on “criminal” charges and five suspects others were captured during security operations all over the province of Basra on Sunday, a local police source said. “Police forces conducted search raids in different areas of the province and captured 12 men wanted on criminal charges and five suspects others,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The raiding forces also seized a Kalashnikov assault rifle and a reportedly stolen vehicle,” he added.
