19 arrested in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Policemen captured 13 wanted men and six suspects and seized light arms and unlicensed vehicles during security operations all over the province of Basra on Friday, a local police source said. “Security forces conducted search raids all over Basra, arresting 13 wanted men on criminal charges and six suspects others,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The raiding forces also seized a Kalashnikov assault rifle and two guns as well as unlicensed vehicles,” the source added.
