Security deterioration curbs investment – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Security deterioration in Iraq curbs investments in the country, lawmaker Sami al-Attroshi from the Islamic Union of Kurdistan said Tuesday. He said that the recent blasts in Baghdad created a “big hole” that faces any attempt to invest in Iraq. “There is a well-known principle, capitals are coward,” al-Attroshi said in a release issued by his office and received by Iraqi News. “Investors do not work in risky and disturbed environments,” he said. He ruled out that the Iraqi government would be able to bring investments to the country after the recent security deterioration. MH (P) / SS 1
