Lebanese firm to construct residential compound in Thi-Qar

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: The Thi-Qar Investment Commission approved on Thursday the engineering designs submitted by a Lebanese firm to construct a residential compound in Nasseriya, according to the Commission’s media spokesperson. “The compound will be built in northern Nasseriya city, and the project comprises 1,800 buildings with eight floors each,” Hussein Dwej al-Jabberi told Iraqi News. “In addition to the required services and infrastructures, the compound will also include 14,000 housing units,” al-Jabberi said. Nasseriya, the capital city of Thi-Qar province, lies 380 km south of Baghdad. MH (P)/AmR 1
