Rumaitha railway station finalized at ID1.300b

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi transport ministry’s railways company finalized the new station of al-Rumaitha at a cost of 1.300 billion Iraqi dinars (ID), the ministry said in a press release on Sunday. ” The station is replacing the old one and part of the Hilla-Samawa railway line project,” read the release as received by Iraqi News. “Soon after materials are imported, the company will embark on building four railway lines, in addition to passenger halls and up-to-date signals and communications equipment,” it added.
