(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Wednesday, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi met Sovereign Pontiff Pope Francis in the Vatican after arriving in Italy on an official visit.
Prime minister’s office said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Today, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi met the Sovereign Pontiff Pope Francis and General Secretary of the Vatican’s Prime Minister Cardinal Pietro Baruaan after arriving in Italy on an official visit.”
Noteworthy the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi left on Wednesday on an official visit to Italy and Germany to discuss the support of the seven industrial countries to Iraq. Abadi also will participate in the Munich Security Conference.
