ID1 million granted for 400 displaced families in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: The displaced department in cooperation with al-Rashied bank in Karbala has presented one million Iraqi dinars each to more than 400 displaced families in the province, the media official of the displaced department said on Monday. “The department presented one million Iraqi dinars to 427 families in Karbala who have not received any financial amounts,” Jabr Zaiyara al-Rubaiei told Iraqi News. “This is the fifth batch of displaced families who received such a grant, as more than 2,000 families have received this grant in the previous four batches,” he added. There are 11,000 displaced families in Karbala coming from Baghdad, Diala, Mosul and Babel, according to official figures. Karbala is 110 km southwest of Baghdad. SH (P)/SR 1
