Jubouri meets Secretary General of Arab League Nabil al-Arabi in Cairo

(IraqiNews.com) The Office of the Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri announced on Wednesday, that the latter met with the Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil al-Arabi in the Egyptian capital Cairo, while pointed out that al-Jubouri stressed the need for joint coordination between the Arab states in the fight against “terrorism.”
Jubouri’s office said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Today, Jabouri met with the Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil al-Arabi,” noting that “During the meeting, they reviewed the overall situation on the Arab and regional states and the challenges in the region as well as the role of the Arab League.”
The statement added, “The meeting stressed the importance of coordination between all Arab countries in order to achieve the aspirations of the people to live in peace and freedom, as well as the need to reject extremism and terrorism in all its forms.”
