(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Joint Task Force announced on Thursday, that the US-led coalition conducted 22 air strikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

The Joint Task Force said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Seven air strikes were conducted in Syria, including five air strikes near al-Houl area, destructing two tactical units, seven buildings and a combat site belonging to ISIS,” adding that, “Two air strikes were conducted near Albu Kamal, hitting a gas and oil station, as well as a refining facility.”

The statement continued, “15 air strikes were carried out in Iraq in coordination with the Iraqi government, including nine air strikes near Mosul, destructing two tactical units, weapons factory, IEDs factory, mortars factory and a facility to make car bombs, as well as seven combat sites.”

The statement also pointed out, “Another air strikes were carried out in Iraq near al-Qaim, Fallujah, Heet and Kisik.
