(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Monday, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi emphasized the importance of fighting corruption in Iraq, while pointed out to the necessity of the Anti-Corruption Supreme Council and pledged to provide the necessary support for it.
Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said in a statement during his presidency of the Anti-Corruption Supreme Council meeting and followed by IraqiNews.com, “We will eliminate the corrupted people, regardless their position or party.”
Abadi added, “The role of the council is important during this period in order to prosecute the corrupted people,” pointing out that, “We will provide all the needed support to it.”
