(IraqiNews.com) Diyali – Jalawla District Council announced on Sunday the return of 251 displaced families to the center of the district, while pointed out that the total number of displaced families returning to the district of Jalawla since the launch of a program to return them amounted to 3,500 families.

Head of the district council, Yaqoub Ali, said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “251 displaced families have returned to their homes in three neighborhoods of Jalawla District after the completion of the security procedures by a high committee.”

Ali added, “The total number of returning families belonging to Jalawla since the launch of a program to return the families has reached 3,500 families and there are efforts to accelerate the pace of return for the completion of the program as soon as possible.”
