Abdulmahdi, Lebanese president discuss Iraqi dues to Lebanese companies

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdulmahdi discussed with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman on Monday Iraqi dues to Lebanese companies, according to a Lebanese presidential statement. “President Michel Suleiman met in Beirut on Monday (Sept. 21) with Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdulmahdi who is currently visiting Beirut,” said the statement received by Iraqi News. “Talks during the meeting dealt with relations between the two countries, the political and security situation in Iraq and measures taken by the Iraqi authorities to settle peace and stability in the country,” it added. “The talks also covered Iraqi dues to Lebanese companies and corporations and means to settle them,” it said.
