 International experts arrive in Ramadi to remove IEDs, says Anbar Governor

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The governor of Anbar, Suhaib al-Rawi, announced on Monday the arrival of international experts to remove improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the city of Ramadi.

Rawi said a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “A delegation of international experts arrived in the city of Ramadi, today, and will begin to remove the explosive remnants of war and the explosive devices that the local experts were unable to remove them.”

Rawi praised “all the efforts that have contributed to the arrival of international experts,” noting that, “The local government has worked in coordination with the central government alongside continuous efforts with the international community to [ensure] the presence of those teams with the contribution of the international coalition; without incurring any costs.”
