Ameri arrives in Tuz Khurmatu, holds meeting with leaders of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Monday the Secretary General of Badr Organization, Hadi al-Ameri, arrived in the district of Tuz Khurmatu east of Salahuddin, while chaired a meeting of the leaders of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia at the headquarters of the organization in the district.

The leader in the organization, Mohammed Mahdi al-Bayati, said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Ameri arrived in the district of Tuz Khurmatu and chaired upon his arrival a security meeting, including leaders of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi al-Turkmani and the leader of the northern axis within al-Hashed al-Sha’bi Abu Reda al-Naggar, to discuss the situation in Tuz Khurmatu,” noting that, “[The meeting] was held at the headquarters of Badr Organization.”

Bayati added, “Ameri spoke about the outstanding issues with the Kurds,” asserting that, “It is necessary to reach a radical solution with the Kurds,” pointing out that, “The leaders of Tuz talked about the outstanding problems with the Kurds and the points of agreement in the recent events.”
