Municipalities minister urges Parl. to pass supplementary budget

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi minister of municipalities and public works has called on the Parliament to pass the supplementary budget, which he said would enable his ministry to implement more projects. “During a meeting with project directors in the province, Minister Riyad Ghareeb said that the ministry has carried out 14 strategic projects thus far,” according to a ministry statement received by Iraqi News. The supplementary budget will enable the ministry to implement more projects within the coming two months and resolve the water problem in Basra province, the statement added. SS (P) 1
