(IraqiNews.com) The Joint Task Force of the International Coalition announced on Tuesday, that the United States and its allies conducted 17 air strikes against ISIS near eight cities in Iraq.

The Joint Task Force said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Warplanes of the international coalition conducted, yesterday, 17 air strikes against ISIS in Iraq,” pointing out that, “The [aerial] bombing was carried out near eight cities focusing on Mosul where seven strikes had targeted a factory for manufacturing explosive devices belonging to the [ISIS] as well as three tactical units and three caches of supplies.”

The statement added, “Other strikes were carried out near Hawija, al-Baghdadi, al-Rutba, Kesk, Qayara, Sinjar and Tal-Afar,” indicating also that, “One air strike was carried out near Raqqa in Syria.”
