International coalition foils suicide attack on Baghdadi’s eastern entrance
(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – A military source in the army’s 7th brigade in Anbar Province revealed on Monday, that the international coalition aviation foiled a suicide attack on the eastern entrance of al-Baghdadi vicinity.
The source said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition aviation backed by the army’s 7th brigade managed to bombard a convoy of three booby-trapped vehicles belonging to ISIS,” pointing out that, “The convoy was intending to attack the eastern entrance of al-Baghdadi vicinity east of Ramadi.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The bombardment resulted in the destruction of the booby-trapped vehicles, as well as killing the suicide bombers who were driving the vehicles.”
