9 people killed, wounded in bomb blast southeast of Baghdad
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday, that nine people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast southeast of Baghdad.
The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded near a popular restaurant in old Diyala Bridge area southeast of Baghdad, killing one person and wounding eight others.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added, “A security force rushed to the area and evacuated the wounded to Mahmudiyah Hospital to receive treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine department, while imposed a security cordon around the area of the incident.”
