28 wanted men captured in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: A total of 28 wanted men were arrested in Karbala , according to Karbala police’s media official. “Security forces managed on Sunday (Aug. 23) and Monday (Aug. 24) to arrest 28 wanted men, including three suspected of being involved in terrorist attacks,” Major Alaa Abbas told Iraqi News. “The operation was launched in light of intelligence information,” he added, noting that the operation comes within a security plan by the police to foster their presence in the province, Karbala is 110 km southwest of Baghdad .
