Fire breaks out in Za’faraniya area southeast of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police said on Saturday, that a fire erupted inside a popular market in the area of al-Za’faraniya southeast of the capital Baghdad.
The source said in a brief statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “This evening, al-Za’faraniya area, southeast of Baghdad, has witnessed a fire breaking out in one of its popular markets,” noting that, “The size of losses caused by the fire is still unknown.”
“The Civil Defense Team rushed to the area to put out the fire,” the source added.
