Jabouri urges Washington to provide extra military aid for Iraq

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Monday, Head of Parliament Salim al-Jabouri said, that the liberation of Fallujah was achieved as a result of friends and allies’ support, while stressed the importance of the ongoing Iraqi-American cooperation to provide more military aid to Iraq.
The Media Office of Jabouri said in a statement, a copy of which was received by Iraqi News, “Jabouri received the Special US Envoy Brett McGurk and the US Ambassador to Iraq Stewart Jones to discuss the latest security updates, especially the victories achieved by Iraqi forces in Anbar and the international efforts exercised by the US-led coalition to support Iraq.”
Jabouri said, “The liberation of Fallujah represented a strong motivation for all Iraqis in preparation to liberate the remaining cities, especially Mosul,” adding that, “The liberation of Fallujah was achieved with the help of our friends and allies.”
