Tens of ISIS fighters killed in airstrike north of Ramadi
(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – Media officials with the Defense Ministry announced on Sunday that tens of ISIS fighters were killed in an aerial strike by the Iraqi Air Force north of Ramadi.
The officials, in a press statement, said, “The Air Force, based on information by the Intelligence and Federal Investigation Agency, carried out air strikes in Khalediya island north of Ramadi,” adding, “The strikes resulted in the destruction of a cache of weapons and a mortar detachment, in addition to rockets and a number of trenches and tunnels.”
The statement added, “The strikes also resulted in killing tens of terrorists who were inside the ISIS headquarters of the so-called al-Hesba.”
