(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – Jazeera Operations Command on Tuesday informed killing five ISIS members in a security operation in Heet district west of Ramadi, and further said that the security forces also demolished two booby-trapped vehicles and five boats of ISIS.

The commander of Jazeera Operations Major General Qassim al-Mohamadi, in a statement issued to the media, said, “The security forces managed to carry out military operations to liberate Heet island in western Heet district, resulting in the killing of five ISIS members, as well as in the destruction of two booby-trapped vehicles, a motorcycle and five boats.”

“The security forces were also able to detonate a rocket launcher apart from seizing large weapons and cache of rockets and dismantling of seventeen (17) improvised explosive devices,” added Mohamadi.
