Iraq to establish diplomatic ties with Slovenia

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi cabinet has approved a recommendation from the Foreign Ministry to establish diplomatic relations with Slovenia, a government spokesperson said on Monday. “During its session on Sunday (Aug. 30), the Council of Ministers approved a recommendation submitted by the Foreign Ministry to establish diplomatic relations between the Republic of Iraq and the Republic of Slovenia at the embassy level…,” Ali al-Dabbagh said in a statement received by Iraqi News. Diplomatic relations between the two countries will also be maintained through their embassies in the Austrian capital Vienna, Dabbagh added. SS (P) 1
