Turkish satellite channel to host Kurdish official

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: The official spokesman for the minister of religious affairs (endowments) in the Kurdistan region will head on Monday for Ankara in response to an invitation from a Turkish satellite channel, the first of its kind to a Kurdish official. “TRT6 channel invited the ministry in an official way to take part in one of its programs,” Mariwan al-Naqshabandi told Iraqi News, noting that this the first official invitation from a Turkish body to the ministry of endowment in Kurdistan . “The program I will take part in is related to the Ramadan affairs in Kurdistan,” he said, adding that the channel will host another official from the Turkish city of Diyar Bakr to talk about Ramadan in his city.
