22 political blocs registered in Kurdistan – IHEC

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: A total of 22 political blocs have been registered in Kurdistan region to take part in the coming parliamentary elections, an official of the Independent High Electoral Commission in Iraq (IHEC) said on Wednesday. “Twent-two political blocs have been registered so far in the region and i expect more blocs will register as the deadline for the registration is next Sunday (Sept. 6),” Hindreen Mohamed told Iraqi News. “Among the registered blocs, one bloc will take part in the elections for the first time,” he added.
