Turkish army ordered to withdraw from Iraq
(IraqiNews.com) BAGHDAD- The Turkish army on Saturday ordered its troops stationed in Iraq to withdraw immediately. This news was flashed at the official Iraqi television.
The decision came after Turkey experienced a military coup, where the military troops spread at the streets of Turkish capital Ankara and Istanbul, while the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed to punish those who were responsible of the putsch, and called upon citizens to prevent the coup.
