Anbar Council seeks international support for reconstructing liberated areas
(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – Anbar Provincial Council has admitted that it doesn’t have the sufficient fund to reconstruct and rehabilitate the liberated areas in the province, and affirmed the province’s need for international aid in order to proceed with the reconstruction process.
The security committee member in Anbar Council Rajee Barakat al-Eissawi in a statement said, “The local government of Anbar doesn’t have the needed budget to reconstruct and rehabilitate the liberated areas in Anbar.”
Eissawi added, “The council is in need of international aid in order to reconstruct and rehabilitate the damaged areas in Ramadi, Fallujah, Heet and the other liberated areas in Anbar.”
