Khalidiya island fully liberated, informs Anbar Council

(IraqiNews.com) ANBAR – Head of Anbar Provincial Council Sabah Krhot announced on Sunday that Khalidiya island, east of Ramadi, has been fully liberated from ISIS control.
In statement issued to the media Krhot said, “Security forces have completely liberated Khalidiya island from ISIS control and now they are in full control of the island.”
Krhot called upon the Iraqi security Forces to ‘liberate Ramadi Island’ and rescue the civilians who are trapped there.
