Parl. to approve presidential advisors

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Parliament on Saturday held its regular session under the chairmanship of Speaker Iyad al-Samarraie to approve the appointment of advisors to the Iraqi president, according to a lawmaker “Today’s agenda also includes a vote on two draft laws on forests and the Ministry of Planning,” MP Hanin al-Qado from the United Iraqi Alliance (UIA) told Iraqi News. The first reading of a bill proposing taxes on foreign oil companies working in Iraq will also take place during the session, the parliamentarian noted. SS (P) 1
