KA presents its protest against postponing census

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Kurdistan Alliance presented its protest to the federal court against the decision of the federal government to postpone the census until 2010, according to a statement released by the Kurdistan regional government’s Web site. “The Kurdistan Alliance presented its protest to the federal court against the decision taken by the federal government to postpone the census, scheduled to be held on October 24, 2010,” said the statement received by Iraqi News. The statement considered the postponement decision as a violation of law and constitution and will cause a great damage to the economy and development in the country.
