BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: U.S. Vice President Joe Biden will arrive in Arbil on Thursday to meet with Kurdish President Massoud Barzani to discuss a number of issues of common concern, according to a director of the foreign relations department in Kurdistan . “Biden will visit the Kurdistan region to meet with President Massoud Barzani, with whom he will discuss ways of boosting relations between Iraq and the U.S. as well as the U.S. relations with Kurdistan and relations between Baghdad and Arbil,” Falah Mustapha told Iraqi News. “Biden’ s visit to Kurdistan is a clear evidence of the Kurdish leadership’s importance in Iraq ,” he added.
