Kurdish MP says Maliki “still our ally”

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi parliamentarian from the Kurdistan Alliance (KA) on Monday said that Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is “still an ally of the Kurds,” stressing his alliance’s commitment to all agreements signed with the premier. “The KA is still an ally of the prime minister as long as he abides by the agreements he signed with the Kurds,” MP Saadi al-Barzanji told Iraqi News. “The Kurds have not hindered any project by the government,” Barzanji noted.
