U.N. envoy arrives in Kirkuk, meets governor

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: The special United Nations envoy, Ad Melkert, arrived in Kirkuk on Thursday and met the governor, a media source said. “Ad Melkert arrived in Kirkuk to meet senior officials in the city,” the source told Iraqi News, noting that he held a meeting with Governor Abdulrahman Mustapha upon his arrival.
