Basra in good condition as far as its security is well – VP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi, who is currently visiting Basra, said that the province would remain in good condition as far as its security forces are in good shape. He praised security achievements in Basra while visiting the Basra Operations Command, according to a release posted his web site on Sunday. “I had a briefing about improving security forces’ proficiency in Basra,” the release quoted Hashemi as saying.
