Iraq’s cycling team camps in Najaf to prepare for Arab event

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq ‘s cycling team will start a training camp in the city of Najaf in early September within preparations for an Arab tournament to be hosted by Qatar on October 21-29, an official said on Sunday. “Sixteen racers will attend the camp in Najaf. Only twelve of them will be picked to represent Iraq in the Arab event in Qatar ,” Ahmed Sabry, the secretary-general of the Iraqi cycling federation, told Iraqi News.
