Iraq’s soccer team draws with Jordan’s al-Ramtha

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi junior soccer team drew 1/1 with the Jordanian club al-Ramtha within the 2nd Jordan Arab tournament. “The game between Iraq ‘s junior soccer team and al-Ramtha, played on the al-Hassan pitch in Irbid, ended in a 1/1 draw, while the Shabab al-Ardon club also drew 1/1 with Syria ‘s Tishreen,” according to the Jordanian news agency Petra . “The four teams thus are equal with the same number of points and goals and waiting for the coming games in the league stage to settle who would qualify to the second round,” it added. The first day of the tournament ended in a 2/2 draw between Jordan ‘s al-Wihdat and Syria ‘s al-Majd while Iraq ‘s Arbil defeated Jordan ‘s Arbil 3/1. AmR (P)/SR 1
