U.S., Iraqi businessmen take on investments

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A U.S.-Iraqi conference on investment projects in Iraq will be held later this month with the participation of 700-800 Iraqi and American businessmen, the Iraqi National Investment Commission said on Sunday. “The conference will provide an opportunity for Iraqi businessmen to work with their American counterparts,” a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency quoted the chairman of the commission, Sami Raouf al-Araji, as saying. “A total of 750 investment projects in 12 different sectors will be put forward during the conference,” the statement noted.
