Iraqi officials discuss water shortage

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Deputy Prime Minister Rafie al-Issawi on Monday met with the minister of water resources, Abdullateef Rasheed, to discuss ministry plans to combat the shortage of drinking water in the country. “The meeting focused on radical solutions to the water crisis in Basra province,” according to an official statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
